The Presence of God

Isn’t it remarkable that we can see the trees sway and the leaves scatter but are not able to see the wind? In like manner, our awesome God is everywhere--we cannot see Him but we feel His presence and see His works all around us.

We see Him in the birth of a child, we see Him in the love of a mother, we see Him in the grandeur of the seasons, we see Him in the magnificence of each snowflake, we see Him in clouds in the sky, we see Him in the love of animals, we see Him in each and every raindrop, and oh, so much more!

God says: "He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man...the LORD God Almighty is his name," Amos 4:13. And even though we cannot see him, we can have fellowship with him. In 1 John 4:12, God's Word says, "No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another God lives in us and his love is made complete in us."
